PREMIERE: Hennessy Artistry Presents – DanceGo (Eau de vie) ft. 2face & Wizkid
The most anticipated track of the year is finally here! Nigeria’s favorite artistes; the Legendary 2Face Idibia and StarBoy CEO, Wizkid have released their first ever collaboration as the official Hennessy Artistry 2014 theme song titled “Dance Go (Eau de Vie)”.
The ground-breaking upbeat track premiered this morning on The Beat 99.9 FM and has an impressive house beat that will get you off your feet, dancing and singing along. “Dance Go” was produced by buzzing producer, Sarz with Hennessy as the executive producer for the track.
“With this song, we just want make everybody let go and just Dance Go…Eau de Vie things!!! Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ghana, South Africa… Get Ready!” 2Face said.
Wiz also commented on the track, “Working with a legend has been an amazing experience for me and this track “Dance Go” is definitely a mad track. Hennessy Artistry 2014… We getting it! StarBoy things!”
Hennessy Cognac Brand Manager, Lere Awokoya, shared his thoughts on the track, “I think the track will stand out because it has a fresh feel to it – it’s not the usual sound we hear today and it has a way of growing on you. For me, the track is unique because it fuses so many different sounds and styles into one. From the individual elements of the instrumental to the individual styles of the Artistes, it truly is a blend of flavours.”

2face – Vote No Fight
As the 2015 elections gather momentum with the attendant apprehension it stirs within the polity, The 2face Foundation in partnership with Young Stars Foundation, National Democratic Institute (NDI) , and other partner organisations, have flagged off the “VOTE NOT FIGHT – ELECTION NO BE WAR”
campaign, geared towards a violence free electoral process in 2015. This timely initiative was officially unveiled at a press conference
held at The Events Centre, Alausa, Ikeja on the September 30, 2014.
The “VOTE NOT FIGHT, Election No Be War” campaign is an initiative championed by iconic music star, 2face Idibia,
and targeted primarily at the youth demographic which incidentally
constitutes by far the largest voting population in the country and also
the main culprits in election violence.
In attendance were a cross section of the press and a heavy representation of civil society organisations from far and near, who responded en-masse, united by one common cause – a desire to work towards violence-free elections in 2015, as well other concerned citizens including the matriarch of the Kuti family, Ms. Yeni Ransome Kuti, among others.
Also unveiled at the launch was the project theme music recorded by 2face Idibia as part of the Million Voices for Peace (MVP) project, and a Public Service Announcement video by the BBC Media Action to sensitize the electorates on the need to VOTE NOT FIGHT.
