Singer and E.M.E boss, Banky W, has taken to social media to warn everyone not fall victim to some fraudsters posing as E.M.E representatives.

Banky, who got wind that some people were selling E.M.E forms to unsuspecting citizens, immediately took to Instagram to warn everyone.

He wrote:

1. This label form is a COMPLETE scam. There is NO application form or Fee to join EME or any real record label, anywhere. None. Don’t fall for it. And please don’t pay any money.
2. I’m only on Instagram and snapchat (BankyWellington), and Twitter (BankyW). Any Banky W communicating with you directly on Facebook or ANY other social media/networking/dating site is fake. Do not fall for it and for Goodness sake don’t send anyone any money.
3. The ONLY way to BOOK me OR any other EME Artist is to email Bookings@EMEonline.com or call +234 818 000 0000. Do not attempt to book via any other source, no matter what. If the price/discount looks too good to be true, it probably is.
4. To the people behind these numerous online scams/impersonations, duping innocent people of their hard earned money, pls immediately change your ways, or may you know no peace, and may the punishment you suffer in return make you curse the day you made the decision to do this.

This wont be the first time fraudsters would try to scam innocent citizens using Banky’s name. Just last year December, the singer announced that he was no longer on Facebook, asking everyone not to fall prey to fraudsters using his name on Facebook.

Over the weekend, Senator Ben Bruce, had his 60th Birthday celebration and several top artistes were in attendance, to include, D’banj and Don Jazzy.

The birthday boy then revealed that his wish would be to see D’banj and Don Jazzy perrform on stage, a wish that could not come true as Don Jazzy had left the hall when D’banj was finally called on stage to perform prompting D’banj to say, Don Jazzy had been hidden even when he told him he would love to perform with him.
