Intro To DSLR Photography

Who: Total beginners, amateurs, aspiring pro photographers, mobile phone photographers, point and shoot camera users, (novice) bloggers, (start up) businesses, and people generally interested in DSLR photography – from students, graduates, corpers to working adults and parents.

When: Each Saturday of March 2016, 9am to 6pm (4 classes)
Mornings will be dedicated to the lecture and discussion. In the afternoons, (after lunch) the 15 participants will engage in indoor exercises, and be taken out in a private bus to practice within the Ikoyi and Lagos Island area.

You will learn: How to fully operate a DSLR camera, how to shoot in manual mode, how to correctly expose and compose an image, how to understand and find good light, how to optimize the camera’s features to gain (creative) control, much more and most importantly, how to take photos that match your vision and intention.

By the end of the course, the 15 participants will leave with a certificate of attendance, a confident understanding of DSLR photography, as well as a collection of photographs that demonstrate their improvement and mastery.

Requirements: DSLR camera (or BRIDGE camera with full manual capabilities)
If you don’t have a camera of your own, the studio has THREE entry level NIKON DSLR cameras available to use throughout the course, during each class.
